Staying true to our principles of sustainable pasture raised livestock, the “just weaned” pigs are placed in either an electric fenced enclosure, or a portable fenced area, depending on the temperment of the pigs we have acquired.
They are able to express their “pigness” by grazing, running, playing or stretched out in the shade for a snooze. The natural, healthy environment makes for better tasting and more nutrious pork than the standard 'cage raised' alternative on the main stream market. They are also given some additional grain to supplement their primarily grass diet.
We sell bulk pork as wholes or halves. This way of purchasing gives you a variety of cuts at an economical price. Sharing with family and friends helps to customize your order size. Packages are fairly small as we process the pigs at a smaller size to reduce cut size, and excess fat content.
